Hand Pose Packs
You may be asking yourself, what is a hand pose pack? Hand pose packs are a collection of drawings of hands in various positions that you can add to cartoon characters for animation or illustration projects. The hand poses are helpful in creating new poses for your character quickly.
Hands are typically some of the hardest parts of a character to draw, so being able to have an arsenal of great looking hands already drawn and ready to add to your character can be a big relief. A typical Character Pack comes with 5 different hand positions to get you started. Each hand pose pack gives you an additional 50 hand poses!

What is included with each Hand Pose Pack download?
Each hand pose pack download comes with 50 hand poses in two different formats: 5 finger and 4 finger. Some characters are designed with only 4 fingers on each hand so Cartoon Solutions has provided an additional set of the hand poses with only 4 fingers to accommodate differing character designs.
What programs formats are hand pose packs available in?
- Flash Hand Pose Packs
The art for each hand pose is contained in a symbol that can easily be duplicated and flipped horizontally to create opposite views.
- Photoshop Hand Pose Packs
The art for each hand pose is at a a resolution of 300 dpi (dots per inch). Each pose has a 24 bit alpha channel for transparency, and can easily be duplicated and flipped horizontally to create opposite views.
- Anime Studio Hand Pose Packs
All 50 hand poses are contained in one Switch layer. Expand the switch layer to see all of the different layers inside. Each layer is numbered and matches a specific pose.
Can I change the color of the hand poses?
Yes, you absolutely can! Each format comes with instructions in each download explaining how to change and modify the color of the hand poses to meet the specific needs of your project. For Flash users, a FREE video tutorial is available to download that shows just how easy it is to change colors!
