Animating a Side Walk Cycle Video Tutorial #16292
Animating a Side Walk Cycle Video Tutorial

"Animating a Walk Cycle"
In this video tutorial, you will learn how to animate a character walk cycle. You'll see a cycle animated from rough animation to the final, tweened version. Ryan sketches out the rough poses needed for the cycle, then adds cleaned up character symbols on the layers above to finish the animation. With the rough animation as a guide, it's easy to know how to pose the character to get the animation to loop flawlessly. At the end of this hour long tutorial, you'll be able to know and understand the poses and body positions needed to get your character to walk across the screen in a convincing way!

*BONUS: This tutorial also comes with the actual rough animation flash file (.fla) that is used in the video. With the rough animation as your template, you will be able to animate your own character walk cycles even quicker!

"I bought the walk cycles tutorials, and I loved them, they really helped me learn the basics of animation. Who needs expensive art school when you can learn with tutorials? " - Sean McCracken
