About Cartoon Solutions
Ryan Simmons is an award winning artist with over 13 years of experience in animation. While working at Warner Bros. and Dreamworks, he has lent his skills to such films as Cats Don't Dance, Quest for Camelot, The Road to El Dorado, Spirit, Stallion of the Cimmaron, and The Iron Giant.
Ryan's sense of humor and creative flair helped him to win Klasky Csupo's animated Joke Contest in 2001 with his entry, A Pirates Tale. In July, 2004 his cartoon Carbonite Confusion won the award for Best Crossover Spoof in the Lucasfilm Star Wars Fan Film competition. And in December 2004, Shoot in Utah was one of the grand prize winners in the Utah Film Commission's commercial contest, where the winning entries were showcased during the Sundance Film Festival in 2005.
Ryan's skills as an illustrator and character designer have been utilized in collectable cards as well as computer software games. His animation has been featured in numerous online flash games, including Walt Disney's "Atlantis" and "Lilo and Stitch".
His flash animations can also be enjoyed at American Greetings.com and Egreetings.com where he has created humorous ecards with subjects ranging from redneck families, reality show spoofs and wacky holiday characters!
Aside from operating the creative end of Cartoon Solutions, Ryan is also the creator of the highly popular Star Wars Spoofs website, where his love for Star Wars and his odd sense of humor have combined to recreate popular Star Wars moments with an unusually funny twist!
